Do you know that India is the fifth largest producer of plastic waste? This is something we should be ashamed of. There are some kinds of plastic that do not decompose at all, while others take around 450 years to break down. Around 25,940 tonnes of plastic waste is generated everyday, but only 60% of this waste gets recycled. The remaining 40% of the waste either ends up in a landfill or pollutes the streams or groundwater resources. One of the main reasons for the 40% of unattended plastic waste is improper segregation of waste. This waste, travelling from various water bodies, enters the ocean. According to a survey, 8 million tonnes of plastic waste enter the ocean each year .There is currently 150 million tonnes of plastic in the ocean, and it is predicted that by 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean.
We believe and vision that as the green energy sector prepares to leap forward, it is worth examining the landscape and charting out the path ahead.Our company is going to create structure, program and technology to widespread the use of environmentally friendly products. This initiative will help us to have a strong impact on climate, governance and plastic free nation.
